Hi! I'm Quinn, it's nice to meet you!
I am an Enneagram type 6, wing 5. I am an introvert, but I also love connecting with people. I believe learning to laugh at ourselves is one of the best tools we can use in life. Being silly, making others laugh, and being incredibly awkward are just a few characteristics that describe me.
I am a mom and find this to be a defining characteristic of who I am. I am also a dog lover and have two Siberian huskies that I refer to as my "sons." I spend my free time getting lost in bookstores, thrift stores, and I long to always be outdoors.
I have mastered the art of baking sourdough and hope to one day have my own homestead full of chickens, goats, and a thriving garden. I use essential oils for just about everything and own too many house plants to count.
At the core of my identity though is my faith and belief in Jesus Christ. What He has done for me and continues to do has shaped me into who I am today.
I graduated from Pepperdine University with my Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology in 2016, where I also minored in social work. After taking a few years off school, I then earned my Master of Social Work degree and a certificate in school social work from Western New Mexico University where I graduated summa cum laude in 2021.
I have experience working for a nonprofit in Washington state that served pregnant women and infants, where I worked as a case manager doing both maternity and infant case management. I also worked with women/moms through psychotherapy and was involved in the development of various programs within the nonprofit.
I also have three years of experience working in a crisis-stabilization hospital where my role provided individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy, case management, and crisis stabilization services.

I believe in transparency. When we are open and honest about who we are and what we are going through, that is when change really starts to occur.
I believe in walking alongside people. My education and experience help to equip me in my role as a therapist, but I believe each individual is the expert in their own life and I feel privileged to walk alongside people in their unique journeys.
I believe that the therapeutic relationship is unique for each individual and not everyone might feel that I am a good fit, which is completely okay! I will do my best to provide you with resources to find a better fit.
I believe our relationship with God is at the core of the issues we are battling. I believe mending this relationship is pivotal to our mental health.
